Consignments are by appointment only

Ritzi Reruns Makes Consignment Easy And Fun

You will find consigning is an easy way to stretch your family's clothing budget. With a little effort, you'll see a real difference in what quality fashions cost at Ritzi Reruns compared to department store prices.

What is consignment and how does it work? Consigning is pretty simple; it brings a buyer and seller (consignor) together through our store. Items are consigned for a period of 60 days. After 30 days consigned items are reduced 20%; after 45 days the items are reduced to 50% of their original resale price. Our consignors receive a 40% commission on the sale of all consigned merchandise. We price merchandise at market resale value and reserve the right to place consigned items on sale at any time without prior notification to the consignor. Consignors are given a specific date to reclaim any unsold merchandise at the time of the original consignment and are responsible to pick up all unsold merchandise within three business days of the expiration date. Any items remaining after this date may be donated.

What can I consign? How do I schedule an appointment to consign? How should the merchandise be delivered to the store? Consignments are by appointment only.  Our stores accept only current, in-season fashions for women, children and young men. All clothing items must be odor free, stain free, pet hair free, bearing no signs of wear; all buttons and working zippers.  We also consign purses, perfumes, lotions, jewelry, hats, belts, jewelry boxes, shoes, watches, and tiaras.  All battery operated items or items with multiple pieces must be complete.  Please also ensure that you check all of the buttons and ensure the zippers all operate correctly before bringing in your items for consignment. We reserve the right to reject any item for any reason.

How do I get paid? Consignors owed a check for sales through the end of the month will have a check mailed to them on the 15th of the following month. Consignor balances under $10.00 will carry over to the next month or you may call for a cash pick up. Once a consignor’s merchandise begins to sell the consignor will have established store credit equal to the amount of money earned to date. The consignor may use this credit at any time to purchase merchandise at the store where they originally consigned. Checks sent to the consignors as outlined above will have a deduction for any store credit used and a deduction of $0.44 for postage.
